The co-founders of the investment company Africrypt in South Africa disappeared with all of their clients' cryptoassets worth more than USD 4 billion. Investors lost almost 70 thousand bitcoins. Experts believe this could be the biggest scam on the cryptocurrency market.

In a comment for Kommersant FM, Vadim Konyushkevich, the managing partner of VK Partners, spoke about the possibilities for protecting the interests of investors in this situation if the victims are citizens of countries with developed crypto regulation, in particular, through interstate cooperation of law enforcement agencies and legal assistance in criminal cases.
